Hi! I’m Kati and I am one of Dr. Kwon’s Expanded Functions Dental Assistants (EFDAs) and I’m always by his side during your treatment. I was born and raised in Indianapolis and attended Decatur Central High School. While attending high school and college, I worked at my aunt’s restaurant in Speedway, Charlie Brown’s. I went to the International Business College with an interest in the health field but nursing was not for me! I’ve always noticed a person’s smile before mostly anything else, so naturally, a certification in Dental Assisting was my calling! I have now been in dentistry for six years, five of which have been with Dr. Kwon! My fiancé, Bobby and I met in 2013 and are getting married September 4, 2016. We recently moved to Avon. We have two dogs: Lola is our two-year-old morkie (Maltese-Yorkie mix) and Tonka is our three-year-old pug. We enjoy working out, walking our dogs, practicing yoga and getting together over a great meal with family.

Many people don’t realize that I played fast-pitch softball (left field and short-stop) for TWELVE years!
